Booking Terms & Conditions
1. All descriptions
of tours are correct at the time of publication.
We reserve the right
to alter any tour
description should this prove
necessary.
2. We make every attempt to operate tours as described.
Occasionally it is necessary to alter the order
and/or content of the
itinerary.
3. In the event of the closure of an
attraction or the suspension of a train or
boat service on the day of your visit, we will make every effort to arrange an alternative visit. Where admission charges or train or boat fares
have been included in your tour price, all such monies will be refunded in full or used to pay for an alternative visit subject
to the full agreement of the group leader.
4. City & Village Tours
Limited will not be held liable for any
changes to the itinerary resulting from the late arrival of a coach. If as a consequence of such the itinerary has
to be shortened, no refunds will be made. If the late arrival of a coach makes it impractical or impossible to
visit a scheduled attraction or partake in a train ride or boat cruise we will make a full refund of that part of the
tour payment if we ourselves are able to obtain a refund.
5. City & Village Tours Limited will
not be held liable for changes to or
omissions from an itinerary resulting from the breakdown of a coach, boat, the
London Eye or a train.
6. The coach hired by the customer
must have a working microphone, the public
address system must be in good working order and there must be a reserved front seat for the Guide. If any of these conditions are not met
we reserve the right to refuse a commentary on the coach. No refunds will be made.
7. All prices are based on known costs at
time of publication. We reserve the
right to increase or decrease
prices where necessary e.g. if an
attraction raised its prices any time up to the including 31st March 2013.
8. If you have a complaint, please advise
our Guide immediately. If the matter cannot be put right at the time you must notify us in writing
within 14 days.
City & Village Tours Limited books food and drink stops on
your behalf, no commission is charged to the customer or to the venue. Complaints regarding such stops must be notified to the venue management
at the time of the incident. City & Village Tours Limited cannot accept
any liability for complaints arising from food or drink stops.
9. The tours in this brochure are not for
resale. VAT legislation destinguishes sales to travellers (retail) from sales for resale (wholesale).
These tours are supplied to the individual
travellers in your group and on this basis our brochure per person prices are inclusive of VAT charged under the Tour Operators' Margin Scheme.
If you are a business customer who intends to resell our tours, we must quote you a price under standard

10. Our retail prices are based on a
minimum of 35 people per booking. If you have less than 35 people in your
group you will still have to pay for a
minimum of 35 people. Booking implies acceptance of our terms and
conditions, including our cancellation
conditions.
Cancellation
We never mind if you are forced to cancel an
outing due to a change of plans, insufficient support or any other reason. All we ask is that you abide by
these terms of cancellation. If you intend to cancel your booking with us you must inform City & Village Tours Limited direct. Please do not
assume that your coach company will let us know.
If you cancel your outing more that seven days
before the date of the outing we will hold your deposit against a future booking or return it upon
request.
Full payment is due seven days before the date of the outing. If you do not
make payment by this date we reserve the right to cancel your booking.
There are two exceptions to this, The Mighty
Wurlitzer Christmas Concert & Tour requires 30 days notice of cancellation in order for a refund to
be made and the Lee Valley 2012 Cruise has a cancellation period of 14 days.
If you cancel the outing after this time, your
payment including deposit will be returned less a cancellation charge of £300.00 per full day or £200.00 per half day or evening, plus
any admission charges or boat or train fares
for which we are unable to obtain a full refund.
Please note that if you cancel
an outing less than the seven, fourteen or thirty days
required before the date of the outing not having made full payment we will invoice you
for the relevant cancellation charge.
Refunds Guarantee
We understand that individuals are sometimes
forced to drop out on or before the day of an outing due to sickness, hospital appointments etc. As long as the number of people in your party does
not, as a result, fall below our stated minimum of 35
people we will, upon application, refund the individual tour
price for those unable to participate in a tour, less any admissions for which we are unable to obtain a
refund. An administrative fee of £2.00 will be deducted from the total amount of the refund. Refunds must be requested within 6 months
of the trip taking place.

normal commercial interests we are keen to show you this important new set of developments. Please note that none of our
tours are officially endorsed by, or in
any way associated with, the London Organising Committee of the Olympic Games and Paralympic Games, the
Olympic Development Authority or the Olympic and/or Paralympic Movement more generally.
Please do not use official Olympic logos or
trademarks in publicising any trip with City & Village Tours Ltd.
